It’s a new trendy tendency among host providers. It’s popular today to fight with Global Warming and natural pollutions, so the host providers use renewable energy to power their servers. There are few ways to do this. Some companies buy Renewable Energy Credits, other generate their own power directly from renewable energy and some plant trees and do not use paper. Google and wiki know more ;)
