I'm interested to know if someone has purchased template from any template provider and get a corrupted template or nothing at all?
I've read Tereza's post on this forum and can't stop thinking about it.
Is it possible that I pay money and don't get a product I purchased?
Moreover I have to spend my time trying to get my money back and prooving that nothing costs nothing.

I didn't have such experience and hope I'll never will. Wish you the same.
You may ask for a refund if you got the product which is corrupted.

I've heard that some people got corrupted templates but they received their refunds without any troubles.

As I can see Theresa who has written a post on DreamTemplate.com asked for a refund a got nothing. At least till the time she was describing her situation on this forum.

donnio27 I haven't hear of such situations before. I believe each templates provider takes good care of its reputation in order to have a lot of customers and profits as well.
You can also contact BBB if you did not get what you paid for.

I suppose we customers are protected by some laws and templates providers know about them, don't they?

If people had such troubles template providers would loose their business. It means these situations don't happen :)
If template providers use some merchants like PayPal, 2checkout.com, worldpay... you may issue a dispute, they don't like them, had experience :)

Thanks for your opinions. You've calmed me down a little bit. Still if anyone had bad experience feel free to share it with me

don't worry about it. all companies which sell templates understand that bad name will not bring sucess to their business

I completely agree with Donna.
You know unpredictable situations can happen in every business but still we have a lot of guarantees to get the products we pay for while purchasing web templates.
Template providers are usually staffed with a support team and if you have spent your money for nothing it means that these guys are getting their salaries for nothing. Then, in this case, it is the internal company's problem, which is in their own interests to get rid of, if, of course, they do not want to get rid of their customers. There is a lot of competition in the area of web templates production, so, the customer will very promptly turn to another provider, if he or she has had a bad experience with the one.
I entirely agree with Leas

Tnx, Amex.
A word of mouth also means a lot here. If anybody had really spent their money for nothing, I guess they would definitely share their negative experince,a sort of revenge, like Theresa_D did. People tend to rely on word of mouth more than on any other source of information.

I think Leas and Amex are right. Customers denote reliable sites
If you want customer loyalty, you'll never make them spend their money for nothing. Then your business is not targeted at one-time profit.
