Will someone explain to me how to replace the default images in the template I purchase for my own ones? It doesn’t matter if I buy the template or take it for free. I just want to put my banner and pictures in it.

Do it in the images directory which can be found in the "public_html" directory of your host.

Rename the original image file. For instance change header.jpg to header_my.jpg. After this you should copy the new file (header_my.jpg) into image directory. Here you rename the picture back to header.jpg. So your original header is replaced with new one. Check your index.html. I mean open it in your browser and see how everything looks like now. Make sure you like the way new header matches your web page.

Dona I don't know what kind of template you want to edit but I came across a tutorial which shows the way to exchange images in Flash. So in a case you have a Flash template it can be useful for you [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Earlenejoy I am going to purchase an HTML template but I'll look through the article you've mentioned if I change my mind to flash

If it is HTML template, you can open it with Dreamweaver and change all the images with its help :)

Thanks Amex, I think I'll choose the way you suggested. In fact should i purchase Dreamweaver or can I get it somewhere for free?
