I personally prefer Flash because my friends have created their photo portfolios using this kind of website templates.
I think flash is more popular than swish, maybe I'm wrong.

I would say Flash is cool. I like it's fascinating features like animations and sounds. Probably I think so because I'm not familiar with SWiSH. :p

Ok, thanks. Now I see that Flash is more popular.
One more question - I've heard that Swish is better optimized for SE than Flash? Is it true?
I'd recommend swish, because it weighs lighter and the editing process is simpler. Swish software is also cheaper.

I have no idea, but it is true that all swish sites have .swf file as a main file. So there is no difference between FLASH and SWISH in result.

I've heard that SWisH is easier when it comes to templates customization

I believe there isn’t any difficulty to find professionals to edit either SWiSH or Flash. I thought we were speaking which of them is easier to edit for a newbie. I believe SWiSH is more newbie-friendly.

yeah,
Earlenejoy is right. SWiSH is simplier to edit.
Nevertheless it's never late to read tutorial on both of them.

As I see advices differ. Don't want to confuse you but SWisH is really easier to work with.

I’ve read earlier that Swish is too difficult to edit comparing to Flash. But SWiSH is better if you deal with 3d objects
I know that swish is better, when you need nice transitions on the site

Okay. I decide on swish templates. What provider would you offer? I've heard that xpellshop.com is one of the best.
Check this one [Only registered and activated users can see links]
It looks they have good swish templates.

Why don't you try [Only registered and activated users can see links] They are well on SWiSH and the designs they offer look really fascinating as for me.

I've noticed that a greater part of online photo portfolios have been developed in Flash. Doesn't it mean that Flash is better for your project?

Well, it seems to me that the effect is the same.
