How to learn HTML?

What is the fastest and easiest way to learn HTML?

I just want to learn enough HTML to make a super cool, unique website. I know there are tons of web builders, but that's just not my cup of tea. If I am going to do it, then I am going to do it right. I am pretty naive when it comes to technology, but I am a quick learner when given the right material. Could someone point me in the right direction? I'd truly appreciate it.

Remember that the best tutor is practice. Do not just read, try it in practice at once. Start with simple tags, and then, step by step go on coding simple web pages. Good luck!

Not at all, I am quite at the beginning with me web developing skills, so you understand you very well:). If I find more useful links or should anyone else do it, please share it in this thread. Maybe then it'll become sticky.
